Guided tours of the Abbey of Farfa

The guided tours, under the direction of the Superior of the Community, are managed by the Cultural Services of the Abbey which makes use of trained and authorized personnel. Our guides accompany the visitor to discover one of the most illustrious monuments of the European Middle Ages and the Italian Renaissance.

A guided tour service is available for those who wish to visit the Abbey.

  • main entrance corridor and "Square Choir"
  • grand refectory (Schuster Room) with Manenti frescoes (XVII century)
  • lombard cloister, where you can look up to the Carolingian Bell Tower

Guided tours are performed hourly every day except on monday:

  • From 10,00 AM to 12,00 AM
  • From 3,00 PM to 4,00 PM (during winter)
  • From 3,30 PM to 4,30 PM (during summer)
